Just got off the phone with what is apparently Michael Jackson’s biggest fan in all of Minnesota.\u00c2\u00a0 Note to self:\u00c2\u00a0 must make it at least a BIT harder for people to get my cell number.<\/p>\n

He started out very politely asking if I was the Commissioner of the Game of All Games<\/a>, and I said yes.\u00c2\u00a0 He then proceeded to tell me, in incredible detail, what a fantastic person MJ was, and all the great things he did for the world.\u00c2\u00a0 That I would never amount to anything close to him, and that I should be ashamed of myself for running such a disgusting game.\u00c2\u00a0 Normally, I thank people like this for their feedback, and leave it at that.\u00c2\u00a0 But I decided to engage this guy just a little:<\/p>\n

Me:\u00c2\u00a0 Can you tell me just what it is that disgusts you about this game?
\nHim:\u00c2\u00a0 It’s about death.
\nMe:\u00c2\u00a0 But death is something that just HAPPENS.\u00c2\u00a0 Football happens too, and I bet football websites don’t bother you.
\nHim:\u00c2\u00a0 This is different.\u00c2\u00a0 This is a serious matter.
\nMe:\u00c2\u00a0 I’ll bet if you asked an NFL player if football was a serious matter, he’d say yes.
\nHim:\u00c2\u00a0 But you are making a game out of it!\u00c2\u00a0 Making money!
\nMe:\u00c2\u00a0 Football is a game.\u00c2\u00a0 And they make a lot more money than me.
\nHim:\u00c2\u00a0 You’re missing the point.
\nMe:\u00c2\u00a0 I haven’t heard a point yet – but i want you to do something for me.\u00c2\u00a0 Take 30 seconds, right now – and just THINK about what bugs you about this website.\u00c2\u00a0 Then speak.
