Summer coming to an end for my not-so-little Sydney before she goes into middle school (!), so we had to get some quality time in.<\/p>\n
Started by taking N5199J<\/a> out to Lake Powell<\/a> in Arizona.\u00c2\u00a0 Great flight – over the Grand Canyon – to Page, AZ. Next up was Vegas with Pam and her friend Claire.\u00c2\u00a0 Very cool.\u00c2\u00a0 Stayed at the Wynn<\/a>, which is just fantastic.\u00c2\u00a0 Layed by the pool in a Cabana, went and saw Love<\/a> at the Mirage, and even managed to win some money gambling.\u00c2\u00a0 Sydney understands that this is what she gets for working so hard in school.\u00c2\u00a0 Bonus that I get to enjoy it too.\u00c2\u00a0 \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Summer coming to an end for my not-so-little Sydney before she goes into middle school (!), so we had to get some quality time in. \nBuddy Dane has a KILLER houseboat, so we spend several days jumping off the roof into the lake, riding jet skis, attempting to water ski (Sydney had more luck than I did), eating and having fun.\u00c2\u00a0 When it came time to leave, we had to leave a day earlier than the rest of the group, which meant that I had to drive the boat back to the Marina.\u00c2\u00a0 But see – I don’t drive BOATS.\u00c2\u00a0 Cars, yes.\u00c2\u00a0 Planes, yes.\u00c2\u00a0 Figured it would be easy.\u00c2\u00a0 Driving was easy, parking was easy.\u00c2\u00a0 Navigating was impossible.\u00c2\u00a0 Turns out all water and rocks look the same.\u00c2\u00a0 Got us there, and flew us home.\u00c2\u00a0 Great trip.<\/p>\n
