They are now blaming it all on his putting, because he was ranked 80th in putting stats.  Let me explain why it was his DRIVING that caused the problem:<\/p>\n<p>He missed a lot of fairways<br \/>\nIf you miss the fairway, you are in deep, nasty rough<br \/>\nIf you are in deep nasty rough, you can&#8217;t hit the ball as close to the hole as you would fron the fairway<br \/>\nIf you are further from the hole, YOU MAKE FEWER PUTTS<br \/>\nIf you make fewer putts, you make fewer birdies and pars<\/p>\n<p>See how that works?  Lay off Tiger.  He&#8217;s the best golfer the game has ever seen, and he&#8217;s going to win more majors.  A lot more.  He won the <a href=\"http:\/\/masters.org\">Masters<\/a> this year, along with <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pgatour.com\/tournaments\/schedules\/r\">three others<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>So stop.
